Since 1982, the documentary filmmaker and video artist Theo Eshetu (*1958 in London, lives in Berlin) has explored the manipulation of the language in television and alternative means of expression through the medium of video. Eshetu explores themes and images from anthropology, art history, scientific research, and religious iconography, taking a personal perspective in questioning how electronic media shape identity and perception.
