Mona Hatoum
Mona Hatoum (*1952 in Beirut, lives in London und Berlin) is considered one of the
most important and influential artists of her generation. Her performances, videos,
photographs, sculptures, installations, and works on paper deal with issues of
displacement, marginalization, exclusion and state control – themes she examines
against the backdrop of both her own biography and current societal developments.
