Daniel Pflumm
Daniel Pflumm (*1968 in Geneva / Switzerland, lives in Berlin) integrates elements of corporate strategies and start-ups into his artistic practice. However, his “companies” do not produce anything – instead, they represent themselves exclusively through logos and symbols that take the form of videos, installations, objects, and light boxes. Computer animations become part of video loops displaying logos of well-known companies. Pflumm deconstructs these symbols and disassembles them into their formal, individual components, only to reassemble and repeat them at irregular intervals.
