Barbara Steppe
Barbara Steppe’s artistic approach revolves around the ordinary lives of individuals and collectives, investigating their interactions with time. Her method involves participants meticulously recording their daily routine across 24 hours. She then employs a variety of mediums to visually transform the documented time segments. Her artworks often materialize within scenic environments, giving rise to performances, stage designs, and choreographies, as well as sculptures, functional objects, building art, and paintings.
